Yet another poor showing of the Marche region, in particular, of the center-left. After years of gestation, on Tuesday the Regional Council should discuss and approve the proposal made at the time by the Government led by Mr. Spacca relativa all'istituzione della Riserva Naturale Regionale Monte S. Vicino - Monte Canfaito, ricadente nel territorio montano (dorsale marchigiana) della provincia di Macerata e ottimo punto di collegamento (quello che in termini tecnici può essere definito un "corridoio ecologico") tra l'area di eccezionale interesse naturalistico della Gola di Frasassi - Gola della Rossa ed i Monti Sibillini.
Si tratta di un'area che, con le ultime modifiche volute dai sindaci e della Provincia di Macerata, si estende su circa 1500 ettari (dopo la cura dimagrante ottenuta rispetto alla proposta originaria, che comprendeva oltre 2000 ettari), con una perimetrazione talmente perversa e contorta da mettersi a ridere (o a piangere, scegliete voi).
Sono state escluse aree di grande pregio ambientale, alcune delle quali sono inserite nel Demanio e, quindi, di proprietà pubblica (es: foreste demaniali), senza alcuna motivazione tecnica ma solamente per volere di questo o di quel politico locale.
Giunta, dopo diversi anni, alla fase finale, la proposta di istituzione della Riserva doveva essere votata lo scorso martedì 25 novembre ma... l'ostruzionismo fine a se stesso dell'opposizione, unito alle remore di molti consiglieri di centrosinistra ha ancora una volta rimandato la discussione del punto all'ordine del giorno.
Ma l'evento più clamoroso è stata la fugace apparizione di "monsignor" Spacca, il presidentissimo della Giunta Regionale che ha partecipato the sole opposition vote on a proposal - if approved - would finally ditched the bureaucracy: the director of the UDC, as well as shadow rapporteur of the bill, Lippi, has asked the court to vote in Commission IV of the proposal of the law establishing the reserve. Splits, and others of the majority, voted with the opposition .... tapping success (14 against 15).
Failed Blitz, Presidentissimo gone very disappointed, leaving the theater of the latest toys possible regional policy: the absence of a quorum (the good of the center directors have risen from their chairs and pretended to leave, laughing in his sleeve ) sitting was suspended and then canceled permanently.
The bill that will go to establish the reserve will be discussed as well as the first item on the agenda of the next Regional Council (Tuesday, December 1). Will no longer be possible reference or different toys: you either approves or rejects this proposal.
Who will win? The private interest, representatives of miners, hunters, speculators, priests (yes. We even against His Excellency the Bishop of Camerino) and conniving politicians, or ... active protection of the public interest, adding value to the defense of common values?
With this political class that we have (with some exceptions), all the worse is still possible.
